What is it ?
A computer virus is a self-replicating program. It can
infect other computer programs by modifying them or their environment in such a way as to
include a copy of itself; or possibly an evolved copy. They are a special case of
malicious logic.
They can cause considerable damage and it is
advisable to be virus-aware!
